The Picture I used in the Banner is from Blueberry Lake near Hayward, Wisconsin. This was one of the first places that my parents took the family for vacation when I was about 10 yrs old. Since there are 5 Blueberry Lakes in WI and I didn’t know what town it was near (and since my parents are no longer around to ask) I thought I’d never re-visit the place that held great memories for me. But in June of 07, my brothers and I went to Hayward and found it! There were some people there who knew the owners (from 45 yrs ago) . . . amazing! The lake was once in danger of being turned into a marsh (due to weed growth) but is now one of the cleanest lakes in Wisconsin —cool.
My goal for this blog is to share information and tips on fishing. Places to go, best techniques, tackle recommendations, etc; anything that might benefit the sport fisherman. I’d love to get your comments/suggestions. Thanks.
